About project
InsFocus brings advanced analytics to every part of the insurance business, including marketing, underwriting, reinsurance, actuarial, and accounting domains. The Client has 4 core products for different departments of insurance companies.
Task
All client's products were designed 15+ years ago. They include many reports, tables and graphical data placed in analytical templates. The main task was to update the product design in such a way as not to change the logic and customers user experience in one second. The task was to create a modern and multi-component design system that would unite all products in one style. And provide suggestion how to improve UX patterns step-by-step.
Challenge
We analyzed all the products and combined existing components into groups. The goal was to unify groups of elements and offer the client options for their modified experience & visuals. Next, a design system was developed, including tech documentation for the dev team. Loyal users want to avoid a revolutionary redesign, so our challenge was to make a smooth redesign and plan simple changes. We try to teach users and show them alternative and accessible ways to reach their goals.
Results
We have produced complete redesign for all client’s products and provide unified solution based on best practice and users feedback. After the Gap Analysis and review users behaviour we have provided solution how gently improve UX for existing users and modern experience for the new one. Also, we create a roadmap how to release more complex improvements and changes. The main advantage is specification for developers with examples of components UI.
